  • The Super Falcons of Nigeria will face Ireland soon in their final group B game
  • At least a draw will be enough for the African giants to progress to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup knockout stages
  • The Nigerians are relaxed ahead of the game, and two of them were spotted making dance videos

The Super Falcons stars appear relaxed ahead of their 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup final group B game against Ireland and have been spotted showing off dance moves in camp.

Nigeria began their campaign with a hard-fought draw against Canada despite finishing the game with ten women after Deborah Abiodun was sent off in the game's final moments.

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie produced a brilliant save to deny Canadian captain and legend Christine Sinclair from the spot to earn the valuable point.

The Falcons gave themselves some ease ahead of the final game after coming from behind and surviving a late scare to beat co-hosts Australia, who were without their striker and captain Sam Kerr, 3-2 in the second game.

Falcons dance to Rema's charm

There is a good spirit in the Falcons' camp, despite the issues with the country's federation over their tournament entitlements, and this has been shown in viral videos on social media.

As seen in a video shared on Tiktok by Michelle Alozie, the defender, Gift Monday flaunted her dance moves vibing to Nigerian music star Rema's viral song Charm.

The video drew comments from fans who applauded Alozie for getting better at dancing. It also had comments from teammates Asisat Oshoala and Toni Payne.

According to CNN, the 11-time African champions and Canada need a draw to progress, while the Matildas need a win to progress. Canada and Australia square off while Nigeria face Ireland, who are without a win.

Oshoala leads teammates in dance

Sports Brief reported that Asisat Oshoala led her teammates in dance as they showed off their moves after a training session, vibing to Jaydee's Igba.

The video drew the reactions from football and music-loving fans who claimed the Barcelona Femeni striker has the best moves in the squad.
